Former President Bill Clinton was campaigning in the Lowcountry (Charleston, SC) Saturday for his wife Hillary. Clinton spent most of his day talking health care.

He first met with the Alpha Kappa Alpha business group this morning. Then held a round table health care discussion at the children's hospital at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Our camera was only allowed in for a few minutes before Clinton answered questions from doctors. While there he also visited with patients and their families at the hospital.

Next, Clinton made his way downtown to the market to mingle with voters. People flocked to him for a photograph, autograph or to simply shake his hand.
Some voters say his celebrity status won't affect their vote, but it will influence the election.

“I think he's a huge factor,” said Jeff Hughes, visiting from New Jersey. ‘I don't think she could win without him. I think he's going to help her a lot.”

An Associated Press poll shows Hillary Clinton with a strong lead in South Carolina, but they are tied among black voters

Clinton plans to attend church services tomorrow in the Lowcountry; but campaign managers won't say where.
