It’s not 2002, or 1998, it’s 2008. Forget the past and look to the future. Examine how things are going now, from the military leaders who are there now. If I can find good information from Michael Yon, Max Boot, Ralph Peters and others, so can he.
If mistakes were made in the past, learn from them instead of giving up. Our military has been learning, meeting the tribal leaders and working with them instead of trying to westernize Iraq’s political system.
Iraq will be a great friend if we stay and support the people there. They are tired of fighting and a poor life. They know if we leave, more fighting and loss of life is in their future.
We must believe we can help make the world a better place.

Neither Obama and McCAin undrestands Economics. The sad thing is that McCain stated he lacks knowledge in economics, but economist thinks he’s better than Obama. They both get advice from those who are deep in wall streets. Their belief in economics is tied to how well wall street does, rather than individual pocket books.
