Jahnavi Iyer of Enola, Pa., went out on parfleche. She gave parflesh. For a French word describing a rawhide.

  1. My husband was just watching the bee on TSN here in Toronto, and noted that parflesh is an alternate accepted spelling of parfleche according to the Funk and Wagnalls Canadian College Dictionary 1989 and should have been accepted as correct.
