Much of what’s
being reported online is how racially polarized this vote in Mississippi is.
According to the AP:
Obama was winning roughly 90 percent of the black vote but only about one-quarter of the white vote, extending a pattern that carried him to victory in earlier primaries in South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia and Louisiana.
At least one
blogger notes that this says more about race relations in Mississippi than it does the race as a whole.
