Perriello to Join Obama in Lynchburg

Obama’s campaign has made a point with their 50-state strategy to help Democratic candidates further down the ballot. And this afternoon, Virginia will see that in action.

Tom Perriello, the challenger to six-term incumbent Rep. Virgil Goode, R-6th, is slated as part of the warm-up act before Obama’s town hall meeting in Lynchburg, Va., Perriello’s campaign announced. Sen. Jim Webb, D-Va., will also speak.

The event starts at 5:30 at E.C. Glass High School.
