Politico has a good read about the surge in anger levels at McCain campaign events. The anti-Barack Obama vitriol at these events have intensified in recent days, and have included veiled and not so veiled threats against Obama's life. The anger level has become the dominant narrative surrounding McCain's campaign this week. And while it seems to be helping fire up the base, I have to wonder whether it might end up doing more harm than good for McCain in the long run.
