Barack Obama tabbed former Virginia governor and U.S. Senate candidate Mark Warner to deliver the keynote address at the Democratic convention this month in Denver.
The Washington Post speculates that the choice may signal that current Virginia governor Tim Kaine won't be Obama's pick for VP, because having two Virginia governors speak on successive nights would be too much Virginia.
Hillary Clinton, who some news outlets erroneously reported would be keynoting the convention, will also address the convention on Tuesday.
